Update: new skin & old places

Happy new year! After the successful relaunch and your positive feedback I am super motivated to include more items. So let’s start with this huge update:

24 NEW skin related items (more freckles, beauty marks, wounds, scars, body hair, tears…)
31 places from the old SP-Studio are back, so this category is now complete
labels for the buttons to recolor items were added by Lars to avoid confusion

The skin items are a special gift to my Patreon supporters. They can be found in the “wounds” and “more skin related items” categories and are marked with yellow stars. Soon you can expect more updates to bring back items from the old SP-Studio – and join the new picture contest!

Update: Science Fiction

The Science Fiction update is online! It comes with these new items:

places: cyberpunk city, spaceship bridge, crop circles, wormhole
shirts: a uniform inspired by Star Trek and a made up Sci-Fi uniform
stuff: U.F.O., laser blaster and force field
skin: cyborg lines

Apart from the Star Trek uniform I wanted to keep the objects not too specific for fans of certain franchises, so none of them are copied from movies or videogames. This was kinda difficult for me, because I am not good at inventing weapons. 😉 But now I am satisfied with the results and I hope you like them as well. Thank you for you patience regarding this update. I needed a break after my grandpa passed away last month, but I feel better now.

And I started streaming again! The next Twitch livestream is scheduled for next Monday at 16:00 UTC (18:00 CET).

The SP-Studio got some new historical items! All of these originated in the Twitch livestreams I did during the last two weeks. Thanks to the chat for the feedback and ideas!

Christmas Special 2019

The 12th annual SP-Studio Christmas Special has started! I prepare 24 daily updates to surprise you with new clothes, body parts, background images or accessories. The advent calendar at the bottom of this blog post will be updated every day until Christmas, so make sure to keep an eye on it. Or you can follow the SP-Studio on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter to be informed when a new item is live. The first update brings Crime Scene Tape as a new foreground effect!

I’m happy about your feedback, so feel free to comment or write an e-mail. You can also make wishes what you want to see in this year’s Christmas Special. Did you know for the first Christmas Special back in 2008 over 2.000 E-Mails with wishes were sent to me? And if you really like it you can help me a lot by supporting this project with a small donation. I hope you enjoy the surprises I prepared for you this time!

Christmas Special 2018

To celebrate the end of an eventful year let’s have 24 days of SP-Studio updates in a row! The 11th annual Christmas Special has started with new clothes, body parts, background and other items. You don’t want to miss anything? I will write about it on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter and update this blog post daily. The first update is a big one: Six new mouths for the face expressions of your characters!

As always I am happy about feedback. It’s your comments that mean a lot to me and this time of the year everybody can wish for an update. So don’t be shy – write about which recent updates you like and what you’d like to see in the future! You can make concrete wishes or just suggest which category I should visit again.

Update: Rooms

While I am preparing the new version of the SP-Studio there are still updates for the current version. This one will be useful for everybody:
Nine indoor backgrounds with different wallpaper designs were included today! How about a kid’s room or wallpapers inspired by the 70s, 80s or victorian times? Two designs are based on famous movies and tv shows: Sherlock and the Shining. I tried to keep the rest of them as neutral as possible so they could be used for all kinds of pictures.
The topic for this update was chosen by my 5$+ Patreon supporters in a poll. I hope you like the new backgrounds. Oh, and a quick reminder regarding the currently running SP-Studio picture contest: Today is the last day for voting, so share some hearts with your favorites!

The 10th annual Christmas Special has started! Wow, I am doing this thing for 10 years now… But for those of you who don’t know it yet: I will surprise you with 24 daily updates until Christmas. This means new clothes, hairstyles, backgrounds or any other item for the SP-Studio. This blog post and the front page will be updatet every day and I will keep you informed on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter as well. So make sure to come back to see what’s new. 🙂 And of course I am happy about any feedback. To be honest a comment is way better than a like because it’s something personal and I can work with it. So if you like an update or want to request something special for the future – feel free to write a comment! I usually choose the updates from requests of the past, the Wish Voting Gallery in the forum and my own ideas. The first update is a pet raven and this was a wish by contest winner legobasher.

The first new item for this year’s Christmas Special is a dress inspired by traditional Swiss fashion, as wished by my good friend Johanna. Initially I wanted to do another update about fashion from around the world, but decided to combine it with the Advent Calendar instead. I hope you like it and all the other things which are about to come next :).
