To celebrate the end of an eventful year let’s have 24 days of SP-Studio updates in a row! The 11th annual Christmas Special has started with new clothes, body parts, background and other items. You don’t want to miss anything? I will write about it on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter and update this blog post daily. The first update is a big one: Six new mouths for the face expressions of your characters!
As always I am happy about feedback. It’s your comments that mean a lot to me and this time of the year everybody can wish for an update. So don’t be shy – write about which recent updates you like and what you’d like to see in the future! You can make concrete wishes or just suggest which category I should visit again.

My new item that I’d like to request is a sousaphone instrument. (It’s much like a large brass tuba that wraps around the body.) This would be really cool to use. 🙂

@damien: Unfortunately this is not possible. The characters are drawn in 2D, so I cannot just flip them for a side view. I’d have to draw every part again, which would mean 1000s of different parts… and no other updates for multiple years because it would take so long.

I am very sorry, but because of health & work issues the SP-Studio has to pause this weekend. You will get more updates after this weekend, so nothing will be lost!
I would love to see a Keytar
I’d love to have a Sweeney Todd/Johnny Depp style hair selection. The reason why is because I love the Victorian times in English history, and being able to have a white/different coloured streak in your hair would be/is popular, aside using the extension. I do have a question to Tweet you later, but in any event, thanks Janina – I also need to say that I have tweeted you before with my “Book Cover”. 🙂

I like the idea of the Sweeney Todd hair but unfortunaley only onw custom color is possible right now. But I have some good news: In the SP-Studio remake I will be able to add two custom colors to one hairstyle, so it will be possible then to have a different colored streak.

@person: I have stopped drawing original South Park items, but you can build similar clothes by combining freestyle shirts with fashion accessories like the suspenders.
@Jess: You can make as many suggestions as you like 🙂 It’s not like a contest. I just choose those ideas which I like most and find useful.

Another idea I thought of: Those big white gloves that Mickey Mouse, Sonic The Hedgehog, and some other classic cartoon characters wear. And an option to make them a custom color would be even cooler! 🙂

Christmas was in December so it’s a little bit late now. 😉 But school backgrounds are already there.
And while I enjoy drawing Marvel related items I am afraid I already added too many of them. I don’t want to focus too much on one topic.
