Update: I’m back!

SP-Studio Update: 14 famous costumes14 FAMOUS COSTUMES for the “special shirts” category!

This is the first content update after I had to take a long break (as explained here). But this is not the only reason why I named it the “I’m back!” update. To help me get back into it, I’ve chosen some old drawings of mine that date back to the Flash version of the SP-Studio. They have been completely reworked to make them fit the new SP-Studio and to support recoloring. So you can not only dress up as famous characters, but also customize the clothes for your own characters.

The costumes were inspired by Game of Thrones, Guardians of the Galaxy, Disney’s Gummi Bears, Mulan, DuckTales, Halo, Doom, Metal Gear Solid and Metroid.

Update: One Piece

SP-Studio UpdateToday’s update is all about One Piece costumes!

Because I enjoyed the new Netflix show pretty much I wanted to draw the main characters for the SP-Studio. What I like about these costumes is that you can use the new items for different characters as well. So this update is not only for One Piece fans.

  • Luffy: Shirt, hair, pants, hat, grin, scar
  • Zoro: Shirt, hair, Haramaki, cloth around arm
  • Nami: Shirt, hair

Update: More costumes

SP-Studio Update27 SP-Studio items have been added to the “special costumes” category!

This big update brings back many beloved costumes from the old SP-Studio in improved form: Fantasy outfits, superheroes, Halloween costumes, fake muscles, swimwear,… I used more shadows and highlights on some of them, but you can turn them off if you prefer the flat look. Of course you can also change the colors for everything. Three completely new costumes have been added as well. Black is beautiful, so I hope you like the dark outfits inspired by Black Panther, Darth Vader (Star Wars) and Yennefer (The Witcher). With Darth Vader and Black Panther I wanted to finally provide fitting shirts for the existing masks and Yennefer was chosen in a poll by my Patreon supporters.

Update: movie & tv show costumes

SP-Studio update: 16 special sirts16 special shirts and a helmet have been added to the SP-Studio!

They are costumes inspired by Star Wars, Star Trek, Harry Potter, Darkwing Duck, Masters of the Universe and Marvel. In addition to these classic costumes from the old SP-Studio (which have been updated) you will find three completely new ones: Son Goku (Dragonball Z), Donald Duck and the red Power Ranger! The Power Ranger comes with a fitting new helmet. All costumes come with custom colors… so you can build other Power Rangers as well. 🙂

Thanks to my Patreon supporters who voted for the new costumes! Another update with more special movie costumes will follow. Do you have any ideas for it? Write them in the coments!

SP-Studio dresses

Update: Dresses complete

SP-Studio update: 36 dresses36 dresses have been added!

With this update you get traditional fashion from around the world (Japan, Korea, Ethiopia, Switzerland, Hawaii…), red carpet fashion, school uniforms and dresses inspired by famous movies, videogames or tv shows (Star Wars, Titanic, La La Land, Sha-Ra, Game of Thrones, Super Mario, Disney princesses,…).

This category is complete now. So all the dresses from the old SP-Studio are back – but in improved form and now you can recolor them. Some of them also support switching off the shading to make them look different. Give it a try. 🙂

Update: Science Fiction

SP-Studio hair updateThe Science Fiction update is online! It comes with these new items:

  • places: cyberpunk city, spaceship bridge, crop circles, wormhole
  • shirts: a uniform inspired by Star Trek and a made up Sci-Fi uniform
  • stuff: U.F.O., laser blaster and force field
  • skin: cyborg lines

Apart from the Star Trek uniform I wanted to keep the objects not too specific for fans of certain franchises, so none of them are copied from movies or videogames. This was kinda difficult for me, because I am not good at inventing weapons. 😉 But now I am satisfied with the results and I hope you like them as well. Thank you for you patience regarding this update. I needed a break after my grandpa passed away last month, but I feel better now.

And I started streaming again! The next Twitch livestream is scheduled for next Monday at 16:00 UTC (18:00 CET).

80s cartoons update #3

The final update inspired by classic cartoons is online! This time I picked four characters from different shows:

  • Rainbow Brite: Dress, hair and make-up
  • Cubbi Gummy: Shirt, hat, mouth, ears, hair
  • Muppet Baby Miss Piggy: Dress, gloves, hair, nose, ears
  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Breastplate

I hope you liked those nostalgic costumes and I am sure the animal parts will come in handy for creating pictures.
In case you wonder what’s planned next: November will bring another small update slected by my Patreon supporters. The vote is still running, so you can still join. And of course there will be the annual Christmas Special in December. Meanwhile the work on the SP-Studio remake continues and I will post another look behind the scenes soon.

80s cartoons #2: Ducks

It has been a while since the last one because I mainly worked on the SP-Studio remake lately, but here it is: The second update inspired by 80s (and a little bit 90s…) cartoons! This time I added costumes for three main characters from the Disney cartoons DuckTales and Darkwing Duck.

  • Scrooge McDuck: “beard”, eyebrows, mouth, shirt, glasses
  • Darkwing Duck: shirt, hat
  • Gosalyn Mallard: shirt, hair

The topic for this update was chosen in a poll by my 5€+ Patrons. Let’s see which classic cartoon costumes will come next… 🙂

80s cartoons #1: Masters of the Universe

Last year I included costumes inspired by famous Marvel and DC super heroes. Now I want to revisit some classic 80s cartoons. My 5$+ Patreon Supporters helped me decide which ones to pick and the first update will focus on one of their favorites: He-Man and the Masters of the Universe! 12 new items were included today, inspired by three beloved characters of this franchise.

  • He-Man: Hair, pants, “shirt”, belt, eyebrows, sword
  • She-Ra: Hair, dress, headdress
  • Skeletor: Mask, pants, “shirt”

The next update will be about a different 80s cartoon. I hope you enjoy the new items! Some of them are very nostalgic, like the Skeletor mask. But others can be useful for different types of characters.

Game of Thrones in South Park style

Fashion inspired by Game of Thrones

Game of Thrones in South Park styleTo celebrate my Patreon launch I drew new costumes for your SP-Studio characters!
Many people ask me to include more clothes to dress up your avatars as fantasy characters, like shiny armor and classy gowns. Since HBO’s “Game of Thrones” just launched its fifth season and I am a big fan I decided to dedicate this update to the show. So these new costumes are inspired by the fashion of Westeros. I hope you like how they turned out. I wanted to draw something which is not only interesting for fans but also neutral enough to use it for any kind of medieval or fantasy characters.
There are 5 new shirts, 2 dresses and a single belt.
