Christmas Special 2018

To celebrate the end of an eventful year let’s have 24 days of SP-Studio updates in a row! The 11th annual Christmas Special has started with new clothes, body parts, background and other items. You don’t want to miss anything? I will write about it on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter and update this blog post daily. The first update is a big one: Six new mouths for the face expressions of your characters!

As always I am happy about feedback. It’s your comments that mean a lot to me and this time of the year everybody can wish for an update. So don’t be shy – write about which recent updates you like and what you’d like to see in the future! You can make concrete wishes or just suggest which category I should visit again.

There was no picture contest this month (thanks to the GDPR), but I included wishes from the past winners for a mixed update. If you want to win a free wish as well you can join the next contest which will start in a couple of days. Give it a try! 🙂

Update: Rooms

While I am preparing the new version of the SP-Studio there are still updates for the current version. This one will be useful for everybody:
Nine indoor backgrounds with different wallpaper designs were included today! How about a kid’s room or wallpapers inspired by the 70s, 80s or victorian times? Two designs are based on famous movies and tv shows: Sherlock and the Shining. I tried to keep the rest of them as neutral as possible so they could be used for all kinds of pictures.
The topic for this update was chosen by my 5$+ Patreon supporters in a poll. I hope you like the new backgrounds. Oh, and a quick reminder regarding the currently running SP-Studio picture contest: Today is the last day for voting, so share some hearts with your favorites!

The 10th annual Christmas Special has started! Wow, I am doing this thing for 10 years now… But for those of you who don’t know it yet: I will surprise you with 24 daily updates until Christmas. This means new clothes, hairstyles, backgrounds or any other item for the SP-Studio. This blog post and the front page will be updatet every day and I will keep you informed on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter as well. So make sure to come back to see what’s new. 🙂 And of course I am happy about any feedback. To be honest a comment is way better than a like because it’s something personal and I can work with it. So if you like an update or want to request something special for the future – feel free to write a comment! I usually choose the updates from requests of the past, the Wish Voting Gallery in the forum and my own ideas. The first update is a pet raven and this was a wish by contest winner legobasher.

It’s time for the annual SP-Studio Advent Calendar with daily updates! From December 1 until December 24 I will surprise you with new SP-Studio items. This blog post and the front page will be updatet every day and I will keep you informed on Facebook and Twitter as well.

The first new item for this year’s Christmas Special is a dress inspired by traditional Swiss fashion, as wished by my good friend Johanna. Initially I wanted to do another update about fashion from around the world, but decided to combine it with the Advent Calendar instead. I hope you like it and all the other things which are about to come next :).

Let there be rainbows

To celebrate the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision to declares same-sex marriage legal in all 50 states I made this spontaneous update for you:
You can use the rainbow flag as a background image and shirt motif now (in the “stuff” category). Because there is no reason why your SP-Studio avatar should not be able to celebrate as well! 🙂

The big SP-Studio Christmas Special has started! This means updates every day until Christmas, and like every SP-Studio update I give you all of this for free. Those new clothes, body parts, backgrounds and accessories will be based on the wishes of my visitors. Write your requests in the comments and maybe they will be included. The first new item is a baking sheet full of Christmas cookies. I will update this post with the Advent Calendar every day, so keep an eye on it. We have more background colors now! And I started to include background patterns. I hope they will be useful for you if you don’t want to use one of the detailed sceneries. If you want more patterns like this, just tell me about your wishes in the comments.
