The Christmas Special is over and I hope you liked the 24 updates. Thanks for all your great feedback! Unfortunately I can never include all ideas, but I tried to pick different things so hopefully everybody was able to enjoy it. The final update was a festive border, so you can easily create your own SP-Studio Christmas cards now. Happy Holidays to everyone! 🙂

It has started: Let’s celebrate the sixth annual SP-Studio.de Christmas Special! 24 days with 24 updates are waiting for you and I hope you like them. Write me about what you want to see and maybe your wish will come true. I will update this post with the Advent Calendar every day, so keep an eye on it. The old Christmas Specials can be found here: 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012.

Prepare for Christmas!

Like in the years before there will be a huge Christmas special with SP-Studio updates every day! This event will take place from December 1st until December 24th. Make sure you tell me what you want to see in this year’s Christmas special. You can write in the comments or use the wish voting area in the SP-Studio community too improve your chances of being picked. If you have already wrote about your wish you do not need to repeat it though. I hope to see some interesting ideas!

And here is a reminder for the current SP-Studio contest. The topic is “FOOD“, please take the time to vote for who should win. You cn do this in the contest gallery until November 30th. Read all details about the rules in the Forum.

Freddy Krueger Costume

Today I have Freddy Krueger’s glove and burned skin for you to celebrate Halloween.
“Nightmare on Elm Street” is one of my favorite horror movies of all time and I got asked a lot about those items. So here they are! 🙂 I am sure the burned skin can be useful for all kind of creepy characters.

Pharaoh costume

Today’s update is inspired by history:
With the new hat, beard and jewelry you can dress up your SP-Studio characters as an Egyptian Pharaoh. You can even rebuild the famous death mask of Tutankhamun by seletcing a golden skin tone.
And another classic costume is already in the making, so it will be online in time before Halloween :).

Places: Colosseum & Mount Fuji

It’s time for the last “Places from around the World” update. I included your favorites from the last poll: The Colosseum (Italy) and Mount Fuji (Japan). With 27 % and 22 % of the votes those two places were clear winners. I hope you like those new backgrounds! 🙂
During the last couple of weeks I was asked a lot to draw more costumes, so that’s what the next update will be about.

New Contest: Dead Celebrities

Don’t forget the Halloween contest! Submit a SP-Studio picture about a DEAD CELEBRITY until Ocober 15th. Everybody counts who was an existing person (no fictional characters please). Read all details about the rules in the Forum.

Places: Statue of Liberty & Contest wish

Two new backgrounds were included in the SP-Studio. Your favorite idea was New York’s Statue of Liberty, so here it is! The second image was inspired by the futuristic “Venus Project” and was a wish by contest winner TDC. A new vote has been added to the sidebar based on your requests, so let’s see what the final places-update will look like. I decided to pick countries which were not chosen yet to make it a little bit more interesting. Don’t forget to vote for what I should draw next!
