Can you help me to come up with new contest topics? As you know I run monthly contests for SP-Studio artists on this website, and we have been doing these since October 2010. That’s A LOT of creativity and I hope you have as much fun creating those pictures as I have looking through them. And you know what? The next contest will be the 100th! But I run out of ideas for new topics. So I ask you to help me by suggesting some contest topics. Don’t be afraid, write down whatever comes to your mind!

A good topic is inspiring enough to use the SP-Studio in interesting ways, but it’s also nice to have topics with specific themes (like “Disney characters” or “Professional Wrestlers”). The only restriction is it should be something many people can relate to. What topics would you like to see in the future? Or should I start repeating old topics? Write your ideas in the blog comments, forum, on Twitter or Facebook!

The final “80s cartoons” update will be out in a couple of days, after curing the cold which is picking on me right now. Until then you could join the current picture contest. Let’s celebrate Halloween with the gory topic FATALITY! Show a bloody, funny, cruel, famous or unusual death scene. Be creative! It’s important to not just show a Halloween costume. These pictures won’t count this time. And remember: This is not just about murder. So any Darwin Award winner counts for inspiration as well. Submit your picture until October 20th on the CONTEST PAGE. Then the voting will start.

Have you joined the current picture contest yet? Reactivate your Netflix accounts, because this month’s contest is about MODERN TV SERIES! Or tv shows or tv programs, whatever you prefer to call them… There are some restrictions: Your picture must be about a life action drama / comedy tv show which had new episodes in the 2000s or 2010s. NO game shows, NO casting shows, NO cartoons. I am looking forward to your pictures! Submit them until August 20th on the CONTEST PAGE. So there is still onw more day left. Then the voting will start.

I am on a little vacation so the current contest about CONSPIRACY THEORIES runs longer. You can submit your pictures until Monday (July 23rd)! As usual you can submit your SP-Studio picture on the CONTEST PAGE. Voting will start on Tuesday or Wednesday and run until August 2nd.

After a little break for technical reasons there’s a new SP-Studio picture contest this month – and this time the topic is ROCK STARS! Show a famous musician (fictional or real) by using the SP-Studio and upload your picture until June 20th. Please don’t make up your own characters for this topic, it must be a famous rock star. There will be other contests with free topics for OCs.
As usual you can submit your SP-Studio picture on the CONTEST PAGE. There’s a new checkbox to inform you about the privacy policy but the rules have not changed.

Hurry! UPLOAD your picture about the topic FRIENDSHIP until April 20th to be part of the current SP-Studio contest. You can try to build two characters by combining, moving and spinning the parts in a creative way. Or you can just show a friend of a famous person / fictional character. Since this is a free topic you are also allowed to show what a good friend looks like to you personally.

Did you watch the Academy Awards? Let’s create some creative SP-Studio artworks inspired by Oscar nominated movies! Pick any movie you like, the year and category of the nominations do not matter. But pictures about movies which were never nominated for an Oscars will be disqualified. You can use the lists on Wikipedia to check if a movie counts. Here are those for the Best Picture and Best Animated Picture categories. Please submit your SP-Studio picture for the Oscar contest on the CONTEST PAGE until March 20th.

Here’s a little reminder that only two days are left to submit your picture for the current SP-Studio contest. Create a picture about the topic WINTER until tomorrow night!
