It has started: Let’s celebrate the sixth annual SP-Studio.de Christmas Special! 24 days with 24 updates are waiting for you and I hope you like them. Write me about what you want to see and maybe your wish will come true. I will update this post with the Advent Calendar every day, so keep an eye on it. Today’s update is inspired by history:
With the new hat, beard and jewelry you can dress up your SP-Studio characters as an Egyptian Pharaoh. You can even rebuild the famous death mask of Tutankhamun by seletcing a golden skin tone.
And another classic costume is already in the making, so it will be online in time before Halloween :).
As promised I try to draw new items every weekend:
This time it is a very detailed costume of a famous video game character. When it comes to gaming related requests there is one I get a lot: An Assassin’s Creed costume. And of course I listen to you (…most of the time ;)). I included it today and hope you like it. This is a nice costume for many historical characters, so it will be useful for nongamers too.
In other news: The voting for the current contest has started, so check out the great pictures submitted for the topic MALE MUSICIANS. Register a nickname to rate them till October 31st. If you want to join the contests you have to wait till the next one starts on November 1st.
The final “Hollywood Weeks” update is online! I drew 17 new items, inspired by 9 famous movies:
The big Lebowski: Walter’s clothes
Bruce Lee / Kill Bill: shirt and pants
Cleopatra: makeup, dress and haircut
Frankenstein: screws and haircut
The Mask: hat with optional feather
Star Trek: shirt symbol and hands
Star Wars: hood
Stephen King’s It: clown costume
Titanic: Rose’s dress and necklace
…and an Oscar to hold in your hand and pretend to be a famous superstar 🙂
Many of those items have mutiple colors and I hope they are useful for you. I picked things which can be used in many ways (that’s why there is no Darth Vader mask, it would be boring ;)). Most of them are based on your wishes.
So that’s it – the SP-Studio Hollywood Weeks are over! 50 new items. Now I will take a little break. But if you still need more movie stuff join the SP-Studio community. Voting for the current contest “Sci-Fi movies” starts tonight.

Time for a little update: Two new items were included today! Caribou, winner of the “What happened in 2010?” contest, requested the helmet. SoxKid, winner of the “Pokemon” contest, the haircut.
And finally two new languages were added for the instructions too: Russian and Spanish. I cannot offer a complete translation of the whole SP-Studio, but I hope this helps some of my visitors. Thanks a lot to my anonymous translators!

This year’s Christmas Special has started! Each day until Christmas I will draw one new SP-Studio item. They are based on your wishes so write your requests in the comments or use the Wish Voting area in the SP-Studio Community. But please rerember the few things I cannot include (read about them here). I hope you enjoy the surprises. Let’s have a look at the Advent Calendar which will be updatet every day.
