Hollywood Weeks: Disney Dress-Up

SP-Studio Hollywood Weeks
Disney’s animated movies are special, especially the old classics. So I decided to focus this movie related update on some of their famous characters. I picked Belle, Merlin, Tinkerbell, Ariel and Pocahontas, because parts of them could be intersting additions to the SP-Studio. This time it’s not only clothes – there are even tattoos, jewelry, beards and fairy wings, 13 new items!. You can see all of them in the picture below and they are marked with a star in the SP-Studio.

Those characters are from the Disney movies The Little Mermaid, Pocahontas, Peter Pan, The Sword in the Stone and The Beauty and the Beast. My reference pictures. Copyrights for them belong to Disney, I just do fan art.
I hope you like the new items! And remember there will be even more soon, my Hollywood Weeks are not over yet :). So you can still make suggestions on movie related updates.

Hollywood Weeks: Movie Outfits

SP-Studio Hollywood Weeks
The SP-STUDIO HOLLYWOOD WEEKS continue with a 2nd movie connected update.
This time I drew some famous costumes for your characters:

Here is a reference picture. I tried to pick something for everybody: From Jack Sparrow to Tyler Durden, from classic to new. There will be more movie outfits soon, so THIS is your chance to tell me which costumes you would like to see in the SP-Studio. Write an E-Mail or suggest them in the comments.

SP-Studio Hollywood Weeks: Red carpet

SP-Studio Hollywood Weeks
Hooray, finally I can tell you what I was working on the last couple of weeks! The “SP-STUDIO HOLLYWOOD WEEKS” have started! This means during the next couple of weeks there will be several movie relaed updates. And the first one is already online:
Hollywood Weeks Update
Eleven new dresses and one background! I drew them after original dresses worn by famous actresses at the Oscars. Here is a reference picture in case you want to see where they come from.
I hope you like those new clothes. Many girls asked me for some nicer dresses, and I hope that’s something for you :). I tried my best to draw them as detailed as possible.
Let’s see what the next Hollywood update might bring… it will be online in the next couple of days, so check back for more. And of course I am always happy about some feedback.

2 new items + 2 new languages

UpdateTime for a little update: Two new items were included today! Caribou, winner of the “What happened in 2010?” contest, requested the helmet. SoxKid, winner of the “Pokemon” contest, the haircut.
And finally two new languages were added for the instructions too: Russian and Spanish. I cannot offer a complete translation of the whole SP-Studio, but I hope this helps some of my visitors. Thanks a lot to my anonymous translators!
Work on the next bigger update is nearly finished… đŸ™‚

New contest: Flower Power

A new contest has started! If you are a member of the SP-Studio community you can submit your picture till March 15th to win your own gallery or even a free wish for a new SP-Studio item. I chose a free topic this month: FLOWER POWER! What comes to your mind? Springtime? Colorful plants? Or some hippies? I am very curious about what you make out of this :).
But let’s not forget the last contest, those are the winners:
Contest

2 = Swinub & Unown
3 = Bulbasaur

Winners of the "What happened last year?" contest

Contest
CONGRATULATIONS! This contest was won be Caribou! The topic was “What happened in the year 2010” and he created an amazing picture about the air-traffic chaos caused by volcanic ash. You can see all contest entrys in the SP-Studio community and the winners moved into the Hall of Fame.
Until the end of this month you can vote for the POKEMON CONTEST.

New contest: Pokemon

ContestFor February I picked a very special topic: Build a pokemon with the SP-Studio!
Of course you don’t have to be a pokemon fan, I picked this topic because I think it’s a funny challenge. There are so many different pokemon to choose from, I am sure everybody will find something interesting. Tip: No pikachu, it’s boring ;). Look through the not so popular ones. And of course no humans like Ash or Team Rocket are allowed.
Here is a list of all Pokemon. Choose one of them, no matter how old or new!
I guess you know the rules, otherwise you can read them HERE. Submit your picture till Feb. 15th.
1st place: Make a wish for an SP-Studio item! I will include it, nearly everything is allowed.
1st to 5th place: More file space and your own user gallery to present your pictures.
NEW: Janina’s Choice Award. If I really like your picture you will get your own user gallery, even if you didn’t score high. This should be a little motivation for the newbies :).

More contest winners

Contest
CONGRATULATIONS! SoxKid is the winner of the first contest of 2011! The topic was “movie & game characters of the year 2010”. Check out all the cool pictures in the SP-Studio community and of course the Hall of Fame has been updated too.

There will be only one contest in February (back to normal ;)), the topic will be revealed tomorrow. And yes, this month there will be an SP-Studio update with new items as well!

New contest: What happened last year?

ContestThe second contest for this month has started in the SP-Studio Community HERE.
As I wrote before we have 2 contests this month to look back at the year 2010. You can still submit your picture until 11:59 PM (GMT+1) on January 31st 2011.
At the same time you can vote for the winners of the last contest HERE.
