It isn’t loading?
- Patience! 🙂 When the loading message appears you need to wait. It might take up to 3 minutes the first time around, but you only need to load the files once. Pushing the reload button all the time makes things worse. Relax, wait a bit, then try again.
- Reload if the loading screen won’t disappear or is blinking. A hard refresh helps in most cases, so make sure to try this first:
On a Windows computer press ctrl + F5.
On a Mac press Cmd + Shift + R.
- Clear your browser cache if you are on a mobile device or the hard refresh does not work for other reasons. Read here if you don’t know how to do this.
- Scriptblockers should be deactivated.
- Use a fast internet connection when loading th SP-Studio for the first time. If it’s slow try to find a good wifi spot (> 5 mbps).
- In general computers work more reliable than phones. And phones work more reliable than tablets.
- Everything is loaded in the beginning during the initial loading phase. You managed to load the SP-Studio once? Keep it open in the background for later! After this you can even use it offline as long as you do not close the app.

If you get stuck on the loading screen or cannot see an update please clear your browser cache with the following instructions. You will get a blank character then, so make sure to save your current picture first.
Hard refresh:
Visit sp-studio.de, hold down CTRL and press F5 on your keyboard. This is the easy solution and fixes most loading errors, so please try this first. It works for Firefox, Chrome and Edge.
Clearing the browser cache:
If the hard refresh does not help you can clear the whole browser cache.
- Firefox: Click the MENU button (icon in the upper right corner). Then select OPTIONS and PRICAVY & SEURITY. In the COOKIES AND SITE DATA section click CLEAR DATA. Check mark both boxes. Click the CLEAR button.
- Chrome: Click the MORE button (icon in the upper right corner). Then select MORE TOOLS and CLEAR BROWSING DATA. On top select ALL TIME. Check mark both boxes. Click the CLEAR DATA button.
- Edge: Click on the SETTINGS button (icon in the upper right corner). Then select SETTINGS and PRIVACY. Under CLEAR BROWINGS DATA you can select the time range (all) and check mark the top four boxes. Click the CLEAR NOW button.
Hard refresh:
Visit sp-studio.de and press the following keys to force the website to realod. This is the easy solution and fixes most loading errors, so please try this first.
- Chrome & Firefox: Hold down the COMMAND and SHIFT keys on your keyboard and press the R key. Alternative: Hold down SHIFT and press the reload button in the browser.
- Safari: Hold down the OPTION and COMMAND keys and press the E key.
If you still encounter loading problems please google for how you can delete the cache of your mac browser in the settings.
Clearing the browser cache:
- Firefox: Tap the MENU button (icon in the upper right corner). Then select SETTINGS and DELETE NROWINGS DATA. Check mark all boxes. Tap the DELETE BROWSING DATA button.
- Chrome: Tap the MORE button (icon in the upper right corner). Then select HISTORY and CLEAR BROWSING DATA. On top select ALL TIME. Check mark both boxes. Tap the CLEAR DATA button.
- Samsung Internet: Tap the MENU button (icon in the lower right corner). Then select SETTINGS and PERSONAL BROWSING DATA. Tap DELETE BROWINGS DATA. Check mark everything. Tap the DELETE DATA button and then again DELETE.
Don't be confused if the text on buttons might change slightly depending on the browser version you are using.

- Chrome: In the browser app tap the MORE button (icon in the lower right corner). Then select HISTORY and CLEAR BROWSING DATA. Check mark both boxes. Tap the CLEAR DATA button.

After you checked all suggested solutions and think this is a different error, you can report your problem. Make sure that you provide as much information as you can.
