Update: Even more hair!

SP-Studio hair updateAfter I sorted the new items from the Christmas Special I started the new year with a classic topic that never gets old: New hairstyles!

Eight of these were added to the SP-Studio today, reaching from odango buns (ispired by Sailor Moon) to a traditional court wig. Some of these hairstyles were wishes from the SP-Studio community. Of course you can change the color of every one of them and you can decide if you want to use them with shadows and highlights or in the “flat” style.

I cannot block anybody from using the SP-Studio so most likely it has to do with your browser. Which browser are you using and which operating system? Flash content must be allowed in the browser settings.
And unfortunately mobile devices do not work, because they usually do not support Flash at all. Special apps can help here, but it is a little bit complicated.

Hey Janina, can you add another hairstyle? I would love to see a late-Georgian women’s updo, with most of the hair piled up high and one large ringlet over one shoulder. Think Elizabeth from “Poldark” and you’re there.

Yes, because including different body shapes would mean no other updates for a long time. And I don’t think anybody would want this. This is from the F.A.Q.:
It should be obvious why there are no different shapes, but I will explain it again to make sure everybody can read it: If there is a second body shape you cannot combine the old items with it. First problem: From now on you cannot combine everything = less possibilities = less fun. Another big problem is the time. I would have to draw EVERY single item again for the new shape. This is a very stupid and time consuming work. Even if I would like to do this it would mean: no updates for at least a year. It makes more sense to use my free time for interesting NEW items for the existing SP-Studio. There are character creators out there which offer different body shapes, but of course this always means less items for each shape. Simple maths ;). This is not the way I want to go, because I prefer to offer you as many items as possible which can be combined freely.

Just one quetion, because I am wondering… why are you all commenting on an old update from three years ago? Was this linked anywhere or is it just that you looked through the whole blog and really liked this one?
