Update: fire and smoke

A mixed update: I added a camping background to the SP-Studio today. Yes, another forrest… but there can’t be enough nature ;). A crowboard was included as well, a wish from the SP-Studio community. And you can use smoke clouds now in front of your character. I hope those are some useful additions.
Some bugs were fixed too:

the eyepatch “jumped” when it was moved
the text tools are in English language now instead of German
more hair styles can be flipped now

As promised I will try to bring you new updates every weekend, so come back soon :). Tell me about what you want to see in the next updates. Clothes? Backgrounds? Hair?

Weapons Update The last month went by so quickly. January was stressful for me, so unfortunately there was only time for this small SP-Studio update: A grenade and dynamite were added to the “stuff / weapons” category. But I will be back with more soon and would love to bring you weekly updates again.
Contest But the community is still alive and so let’s have a look at the new contest. Until February 15th you can submit pictures for the topic “ANIMALS”.
The last contest “What happened in the year 2011?” was won by Joker (again… he’s too good). Congratulations! The Top5 show: Japan: earthquake & tsunami; London riots; Harry Potter 8: Lord Voldemort dies; Revolution in Libia; Osama Bin Laden’s death.

Contest Happy new year! I am back from my little break and new SP-Studio updates will be online soon. And of course we have a new contest. This time you can submit pictures about whar happened in the last year. No matter if it’s about the big news stories (we have tons of Bin Laden pictures already ;)) or personal experiences.
Join the contest until January 15th in the SP-Studio community!
The last contest about the topic “TV Shows” was won by Dogzilla. Congratulations!

SP-Studio Christmas Special 2011

Like in the last three years I prepared a big Christmas Special for you. From December 1st till December 24th there will be revealed new SP-Studio items every day. You can see the whole Advent calendar here or follow on twitter, Google+ or Facebook. I hope you enjoy those surprises! Spread the word if you want to support the SP-Studio :). Let’s start with a nice marching drum. Additionally I fixed an annoying bug with the colors of makeup and fashion accessories.

And as usual you can make your own suggestions as well. What’s your wish for new SP-Studio items? No matter if it’s your own hair style, celebrity clothes, a toy, a hat or background. Tell me about it!

SP-Studio and Google+ (and more)

I created a Google+ page for the SP-Studio. Click on the Logo if you want to take a look:

You can support SP-Studio.de by sharing the link. And of course you will be informed about every new update there. I created albums with the best pictures from the community contests and with examples for every update I’ll make.
Google+ is rather new, so those of you who prefer Facebook can follow the SP-Studio there by clicking the Like button on the front page. 50.000 fans like the SP-Studio so far at Facebook, which is a great success, considering I never begged for it ;). Thanks a lot for your support!
If you don’t like Facebook and Google+ you can still follow SP_Studio at Twitter or subscribe to the RSS News Feed. So there are plenty of possibilities to stay up up date, give me feedback and support this project by sharing the news and pictures with your friends. But with all this new social media stuff I stopped sending E-Mail newsletters. Sorry, it was just too much work and not many people used them anymore. So please decide for another way if you want to be informed about my updates.

Update: New types of eyelashes

Beauty Update Lefiou, winner of the last SP-Studio community contest, asked for long, colorful eyelashes. So here they are!
The closed eyes can be found in the “eyes” category. The other ones are in “stuff” > “face” and can be combined with other makeup to create your own look.

Here’s my birthday update for you! I brought some confetti, love and autumn weather :).
There ar4e many backgrounds in the SP-Studio already but I thought it would be nice to have more going on in the foreground of the picture. You can find those new items in the “stuff” > “everything else” category.

Halloween is over, but I got some new masks and glasses for you. One part of this was a wish by Caribou, winner of the last SP-Studio contest. I changed some of the masks and glasses so you can pick different colors for them. Here are some examples and I hope this is an useful update:

New contest: Europe

It’s time to show your creativity by submitting a SP-Studio picture for the new contest! This time the topic is EUROPE, which means you can make a picture about anything connected to the countries, their culture, history, food, fashion, wildlife, landscapes… European celebreties, music, movies, art… You can join the contest by registering in the Community and uploading your image file till November 15th. Then every community member can rate the submitted pictures. The winner can make a wish for a SP-Studio item and gets his own user gallery.
The last contest was about MALE MUSICIANS and was won by Lefiou. Congratulations!
