A new contest has started in the SP-Studio Community (updated link)! Everybody is talking about Kate, so I think we should remember all the other royal women out there. No matter if they really exist or are made up. You can submit your picture in the community till May 15th.
The last contest was won by Caribou, congratulations!

Yeah, 6 months SP-Studio community! What started as an experiment is still running and I am surprised about the big amount of great pictures my visitors upload there. So it will stay and I plan to improve it a bit after the Hollywood weeks are finished. No more “beta” ;). Unfortunately I am very limited on the things I can do, because I cannot code, but I have some things in mind I want to try. Thanks to everybody who is active in the community and shares his pictures and feedback! If you are not a member yet, have a look. It’s fun :).
The new month starts with a new SP-Studio contest. Join the community and submit your picture about a Science Fiction movie of your choice. That’s the current topic, you can pick any Sci-Fi movie you want. You have time to submit it till April 15th, read all about the rules and rewards here.

And I am sure this is something many have been waiting for, because I was asked for this very often. I chose a free topic this month: FLOWER POWER! What comes to your mind? Springtime? Colorful plants? Or some hippies? I am very curious about what you make out of this :).

CONGRATULATIONS! This contest was won be Caribou! The topic was “What happened in the year 2010” and he created an amazing picture about the air-traffic chaos caused by volcanic ash. You can see all contest entrys in the SP-Studio community and the winners moved into the Hall of Fame.

For February I picked a very special topic: Build a pokemon with the SP-Studio!
Of course you don’t have to be a pokemon fan, I picked this topic because I think it’s a funny challenge. There are so many different pokemon to choose from, I am sure everybody will find something interesting. Tip: No pikachu, it’s boring ;). Look through the not so popular ones. And of course no humans like Ash or Team Rocket are allowed.
Here is a list of all Pokemon. Choose one of them, no matter how old or new!

CONGRATULATIONS! SoxKid is the winner of the first contest of 2011! The topic was “movie & game characters of the year 2010”. Check out all the cool pictures in the SP-Studio community and of course the Hall of Fame has been updated too.

As I wrote before we have 2 contests this month to look back at the year 2010. The new topic means you can make a picture about anything realated to 2010: Big or small news stories, anything you can remember about this special year. You can still submit your picture until 11:59 PM (GMT+1) on January 31st 2011.
At the same time you can vote for the winners of the last contest HERE.

A new contest has started in the SP-Studio Community. RULES.
It’s time to look back and remember what happened last year. And to do this we will have two contests this month. The 1st one has started now, the 2nd contest will start on January 16th. But don’t worry – you will have the same time to submit and vote as you are used to. When voting starts for this contest you can already submit your pictures for the next one, so this month will be pretty exciting.
The topic of the current contest is to create a SP-Studio picture of a movie OR game character. The movie / game must have been relased in the year 2010!
The first release counts, most of the time this would be the U.S. release. If you are not sure check websites like Wikipedia, IMDB or IGN. Upload your picture till January 15th (11:59 PM GMT+1) in the Community. Voting runs from January 16th until January 31st. Prizes:
1st place: Make a wish for an SP-Studio item! I will include it, nearly everything is allowed.
1st to 5th place: You get more file space and your own user gallery to present your pictures.
