Your favorites of 2020 (movies, shows, books)

How about a little offtopic discussion about your favorite discoveries during those months at home? While the pandemic lead to many bad things at least we got some time to watch movies and read books.

For me my favorite movie experiences of the year were TENET (I'm a long time Nolan fangirl) and HAMILTON (no love at first sight, but it grew on me with every rewatch and I listened to the soundtrack a lot). On Netflix I loved the second season of THE UMBRELLA ACADEMY and started watching the German mystery series DARK. How about you?

My favorite show of 2020 was by far the new Animaniacs Reboot. It is just so good and faithfull to the original show........

My favorite tv show from 2020 is the Netflix adaptation of The Babysitters Club, a highly popular series of books aimed at preteen girls.

But the Netflix adaptation manages to be better than the books and I can relate to the characters.

I really liked Netflix series called "Barbarians", It's about germanic tribes in 1st century AD, and their fight against the Romans, culminating with the Battle of Teutoburg Forest.

I really liked Queen's Gambit. Interesting storylune. And actors are simply amaizing! I am so in love with Ann Taylor that I decided to join her fan club. I've already found a site to create fan site. Simple amaizing!

Welcome ot the forum!
Queen's Gambit is on my watchlist as well. So many intersting shows to watch... but I like that it seems to be only one season, so it's easier to find time for it than for a long show.
