  • I took the guest appearances of Wil Wheaton on "The Big Bang Theory" as a sign that his character Wesley Crusher still is present in the public consciousness. Maybe I was wrong.

As a bonus, I redrew Wes's mother, Dr. Beverley Crusher, who already…

Actually, my own artwork will be the smallest part of this thread and only appear right in the end. I thought it might be confusing for a thread to be listed in the own art section and then not featuring any own artwork for weeks. My plan was to tell you…

Hey David. As you said you plan for this thread to feature your artworks, I decided the Our Art forum might be the better place for it.
    Looking forward to see it.

I always had artistic aspirations - I liked to draw and to make up stories. But then I got the impression that, although I like drawing, I'm not really good at it. In addition, I found out, that some of the most talented painters could hardly make a

In this thread I want to tell you, how SP-Studio influenced my life so far and how it inspired me to my own artwork. So this is basically an extended "Who are you". But because this will also include stuff that would fit better into the "More than just…

I must admit, I took some liberties with the beard. Here's the "real" William T. Riker.

Lets's turn to one of the more controversial Next Generation characters. His unique uniform style should make guessing easier this time.

I'll give you one more chance: The character I'm looking for was often called "Number One" by Captain Picard.
  • That was quick, especially for someone who's more into Star Wars. I like the old movies, but I'm generally more a fan of series, because when I like something I don't want to wait three years for the sequel.

So let's continue! The next one should't be…

I'm no Trekkie by any means (I'm more of a Star Wars nerd), but it obviously is Lieutenant Commander Data.
  • Maybe I didn't fully capture her look. I had difficulties findig a matching hairstyle. This is how Deanna Troi looked like in the series.

The next guy I drew for you was one of Deanna Troi's most loyal patients, especially in the later seasons. Because…
  • I'm revealing the secret: The depicted character is Guinan. She was the bartender aboard the Enterprise but quite often also served as some sort of therapist, although that was actually her job:

Since it’s Halloween soon this month’s SP-Studio contest topic is FEARS & PHOBIAS. Create a SP-Studio picture about something we might be afraid of – heights, spiders, creepy clowns, the dark… Think of an interesting scene for your picture. :gnnn:

    The…
  • Maybe I didn't draw her as well as I thought. So I give you a clue again. This character was played by Whoopi Goldberg, who also starred in "The Color Purple", "Ghost" and the "Sister Act" movies. Who could it be?
  • For the next character there weren't enough custom hats available, so I had to improvise. Additionally, I had to move every body part a bit to make room for the spatious hat. So maybe the character doesn't look as flawless as normal.

  • You're right about Worf!

I tried your suggestion plus some other small improvements:

I'm not sure though if the earrings are already the best solution. In any case it seems you have to think outside the box here. Because Worf's forehead is a part of…

well back in the 'golden days' we hit around 20 to 30 entries for a contest. And quite a lot more creativity on avarage. Sure often the most creative still wins highest. But back then more high creative ones were made.

    And everyday people would come…

I have to admit I never watched Star Trek so I am not great with names. I only know Kirk, Spock, Scotty, Picard and Sulu.

But I reconized a specific character. So if it is him. Good job on it then to make non trekkie (that is what star trek fans called…
  • Something is weird about the picture sizes. The first one is to big, now the second one is so small.
  • It's plum time, so what could be more fitting than presenting a true connoisseur of prune juice to you!
