The Darth Vadar helmet and the Bane maske cover the"Move/Delete/Flip" buttons.

SP-Studio Bug report

Thanks, it's fixed now for the Vader mask. By stupid mistake I deleted the source file for the Bane mask... so I will fix this later
.
-
You can move the Vadar mask now, but it still covers up the move tool for everything else.
-
I guess that's normal. If an item is in front of another item, it covers its menu. Because the menu is always on the same level/layer as the item it belongs to.
-
The leather jaket seems to only be on layer one.
-
Fixed! All those numbers... counting to 3 can be difficult ;).
-
Now when you pick the leather jacket on the second or third layer, it switches the color for the first layer selection.
-
Oh no... sorry I did not test it properly. Now it should work. I guess I need to finish this soon ;).
-
Uh-oh.... There's a problem........
[Blocked Image: http://s7.postimage.org/6aowui9kb/bug.png]
When you save the picture, it works properly, the pic downloads without the text, but the update text obscures the lower part of studio, and in result disallows editing that part of the pic........
-
Amazing how many different errors I can produce. Fixed
-
Janina when you press on the mr garrison glasses you will get the new buzz glasses

Some times, when you save the picture the resulting JPG has an horizontal displacement of about one pixel from a given line downwards. It can be solved moving a little bit one of the objects... but it's annoying to save and check and move and save and check again...
It can be seen in this two pics taken from the contest's gallery:
here, noticeable in the center line of the chest:
or here, at the center of the image (walls, eyes...):¿Any solution instead of screen captures?
-
...And sometimes the last row of pixels is added on the other side of the picture..
But as the save function is the part of the studio Janina didn't code herself, I guess this bug isn't easy to manage for her too..
-
Yes, unfortunately I cannot fix anything there :(.
You can avoid this problem by making a screenhot instead, this way you get the best quality. Screenshots can be created easily in newer versions of Windows by using the "Snipping Tool", which can be found in the start menu.
-
...and on mac OS X with the App "Screen capture". It can be found in the Launchpad in the folder "more" (or else, because I don't know how it is exactly called, I of corse use the german version).
But anyway, I learned to prefer this little freeware application. -
</
... Thanks anyway.
-
I don't think it's that big of a deal since saving it as a .PNG is way better anyway. Caribou has put together a fantastic little guide to saving images as .PNG. Click here to check it out.

Screen captures can give more quality (you also can play with the resolution of the screen to get higher sizes) but as you have to use an editing program (paint, photoshop,...), even being allowed to use it in the contest, these programs marks the file with exif information and makes you supicious of editing. If you use the SP-S exporting device the files won't had that marks demonstrating the non-edition condition.
-
I can asure you I will never suspect someone for cheating just because of the exif information of the file. Actually I have nevery thought about this because I use screenshots myself all the time :).
If we suspect somebody it's because of how the picture looks like, if there are parts of it which cannot be created by using the SP-Studio.
