What i would change!

  • What I would definitely change is that when I upload a avatar picture I can only have a picture format of 27 KB or in those lines!
I'm having a real hard time finding a good picture with that format!
I don't know much about this topic but if you guys can change this I would really appreciate it!
Also I would like to add http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-eXUf…+creed+hidden+blade+3.jpg (Hidden Blades) from the assassin's creed series!

    Have a nice day :D

  • You can always resize your avatar pic in CS Photoshop, or even MS Paint, as for the Assassin's armblades, we have a wish voting gallery, here. Just post a picture of what you want, and if it'll get many votes, then Janina will add it to the SP-Studio. Maybe.

  • Hello Dragon_Slay3r94, welcome to the forum :)

The size of the pictures was chosen this way, because I wanted to make sure classic SP-Studio pictures can be uploaded. But I wanted to avoid big picture files, because my webspace is limited. Things like this can get out of hand if the files become too big. Right now it's best to add big pictures as links.

But I guess I can improve it at least a little bit... There are not that many uploads to the wish voting gallery right now that it should become a problem. And bigger pictures could be helpful as references when I draw something, because not everybody includes a link to a big picture.

I will change the size this weekend.

  • Updated! :)

    Old:

    File size: 244.14 kb
    Image width: 460 px
    Image height: 460 px

    New:

    File size: 600 kb
    Image width: 900 px
    Image height: 900 px
Big pictures are resized to 600 x 600 px for the regular gallery view.

Everybody should use the classic picture size for the contests so all the pictures have the same size. If this won't work I will change the upload size to 600 x 600, but let's give it a try.

If you want to upload bigger files than 900x900 or 600 kb please resize them first by using software like Paint, Gimp or Photoshop.
