I recently watched Get Out (2017) directed by Jordan Peele.
I was really suprised by it. I know people aren't limited to one genre, but seeing a serious horror movie that deals with racism/slavery and such from a guy who did sketch comedy bits is just crazy to me. It really deserves all the praise it got. -
