At the moment, I am trying to draw hands which so far I haven't really specialized in. But there are often things I draw which don't make a complete picture, so over time I might post various drafts.
For a start, here's a first hand drawing:

If you ever need a hand model, I'd be all too happy to lend a "hand" or two if you want...
Just let me know what poses and angles you need and I'll see what I can do!!!
Sincerely,
Your pal,
~Paul/Tony Maroj
Well, I've got two of them myself. Normally they do the job perfectly fine. And I have them with me all the time. So I guess I won't need assistence in this area so soon.
that's true...
But some angles can be difficult to do on your own, so if theres ever a pose you need an extra hand for, please let me know!!
I'm always there for my friends when they need me!!!
Your pal,
~Paul/Tony
I played around a bit with my chirpcharps again. As not much is left from the South Park elements, I used to create them, maybe this is the best place to show it. Although at closer inspection the eyelashes and the beak might still be from Janina's drawings.
This could once become part of a children's book or something set in my sci-fi world.
not strange at all! I've heard it used before plenty of times so your good!!!
When used as a nickname, would you capitalize "prof"?
I would think so, yes!!
cause then it becomes a pro noun instead of just a regular noun!
As you know, pro nouns get capitalised!
Hope that helps!!
I'm not really sure about that explanation. But Dr. Who often is referred to as "the Doctor" and when written out, it seems to be capitalized (capitalised?), too. German ist much easier in that respect. Nouns always are capitalized.
yeah... English is a complicated language...
And I'm a native speaker!!!
Born and raised in the USA!!
at LEAST in English, only pronouns get captitalised such as titles (like General/Sergeant, Dr. Or Mr./Mrs.), names of people(such as Tony or David), etc...
But that's just the noun/pronoun rule in English! There are others but I digress...
I think, you're talking about proper nouns and names. Pronouns would be words like "he" or "she". Those aren't capitalized in English with the exception of "I".
In any case, "the Prof" will be a nickname commonly used for Professor Alonsius by his friends.

Your art looks nice! I have a really hard time drawing hands...
I have a really hard time drawing hands...
So do I.
For the rest of the body you can find quite good schematics on how big the body parts are in relation to each other. I guess because there are so many hand gestures, such a schematic would quickly become quite complicated, so most tutorials for drawing hands have a more intuitional approach. Which isn't that much of a help, if you don't have much talent in drawing hands to begin with.
At the moment I am generally going for a more stylized look, which is more foregiving.
