Is it no longer possible to view the vote count?

No disrespect to the winner, but I personally think Jareen2 should have won that one. I don't think people appreciate the amount of time that goes into a complicated entry like that.
-
Janina, would you ever consider letting the winner of a contest select the category for the next contest?
-
I remember in the past, votes were based on how different items were used to create different images...hopefully next time we'll see more complex pictures with more votes.
Honestly, that's how I vote, but I don't know if that's how other people vote. I suspect (although, this might no longer be possible) that people are casting multiple votes for the same entry. It's the only way I can explain how some of these entries are absolutely crushing others, despite being very simplistic, and not particularly inspired. This is hardly the first time this has happened, though.

You know, when I first cast my votes, I noticed I wasn't able to see the results. It showed I had voted, but I couldn't see the tally. I wasn't sure if that was intentional, though.

It's okay if it was done on purpose. But if more people just forget the hands like Dana did I might have to ask Lars if we can bring back the "automatic hands" when you add a body. I will keep an eye on this.
I'm going to assume it's not on purpose, as I had to remind myself to add the hands to my entry.
Incidentally, for those curious, my entry was Elon Musk on the Joe Rogan Experience.
Specifically this photo:

Voting time?

Only one really significant thing happened in 2020, though.

So is it no longer possible to have duplicate clothing items at the same time? In the past, for example, I'd layer two or three of the strapless bikini item to fill out areas of a creation, or if I needed a flat-ish edge somewhere. But now, by locking the items in place, this is no longer possible since you can only have one of the same item. Using clothing items in ways not intended is (was) half the fun, and I'd say most of my entries involved using multiple t-shirts/bikini tops, etc. Most of my old entries would no longer be possible with the new set up.
As a future update, may I suggest a "shapes" category? With various sizes that can be layered?

I notice "stubble 1" is now transparent. Personally I preferred it when it was solid, as it let you use it as a solid, rounded edge.

Ugh, this topic....

For anyone interested, my entry is based on the poster seen here

I'm like Van Gogh up in this bitch

I feel like my entries often end up looking simple, but they usually involve the use of multiple elements to achieve the look. The Tommy Hilfiger logo on the sweater, for example, took some effort to figure out. I always end up going with entries I spent the most time on, particularly if there isn't an immediately obvious way to do it.

I think Jareen has this contest in the bag.

Prepare for a bunch of Houdini submissions.

I hate to bring this up as it always sounds like sour grapes, and because these contests are just meant to be fun, but seeing as how Janina has already disqualified an entry, I feel the subject has now been broached.
I think these contests should only be open to forum members. Lately it seems like every contest has one or two entries that get a suspiciously high number of votes. In fact, besides the already disqualified entry, I see another entry has gained a suspiciously substantial lead.
The problem is, with the way the voting works, there's no real way of knowing who, or how many times, a vote is cast.
I think having forum members encouraging their friends/families to vote, while also discouraging them to vote for them, doesn't work. I think if people want to vote, they should be forced to join the site. At least you'd know the voting would be more honest.
Again, I know this is really trivial, and that Janina has a lot on her plate at the moment, but just something to consider. Personally, it's more fun to lose to an entry that I know some effort and creativity was put into it.

I feel I should explain that my entry was meant to be inspired by the coronavirus, but I couldn't think of a good title. Basically, a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model cover for our current times.

Janina, can I re-submit my entry? I made another one I like better.
