With so many Lego fans in this forum let's share our childhood memories and grown up Lego projects here :).

For me Legos always were my favorite toy. Dolls? Barbies? Cherry Merry Muffin? No way, I wanted my Lego Set for Christmas! And I was lucky enough not only to have parents who bought me Lego, they even bought perfectly low Lego tables for my room. So I could build whole landscapes without the need to put the bricks back in the boxes at the end of the day. It was my favorite corner of the room.

My favorite themes where castle and space, but I also got some pirate and city sets. Most of the time I just played fantasy storys with the existing sets, but later I used the bricks to build things like the Jurassic Park buildings. When I grew older and moved out I told my mom not to give away my Legos.
I admire people who use Lego to build real pieces of art, and maybe I will have my own lego room in a couple of years ;). Now I don't have room for this, but I started to collect mini figures as a little compensation. That's the Lego stuff I own. Nothing special, but I still love some of those old sets. Like the black castle.

    What about you?

I'm so sorry I have hurt your candy feelings </ But always remember: This means there is more chocolate left for you. Just hand me the potatoe chips in return.

Nostradamus had more experience in predicting things and even he is wrong all the time ;).

    Quote from Jabels

I heard they referenced The Princess Bride a lot. Could anyone fill me in on that?

I remember seeing the kiss from the ending of The Princess Bride in a montage about moving moments in cinema history (well... history... most movies shown were from the last ~40 years).

And when they remembered the celebrities who died last year Peter Falk was shown in a scene as the grandfather.

But if you want to do it at the same time it's best if one starts at the end and one at page 21, so you don't edit the same pictures at the same time ;). It's great to have some help, this way it's finished much faster.

You can go to the old wish voting gallery and compare it to the new one. When you notice a picture by someone who is already registered in the new forum, you open his picture in the new gallery and edit it. On bottom of the page you write his name in the "Change author:" and press SUBMIT. Then the picture belongs to him again :).

I have already looked through the wishes from backgrounds to masks (page 1 - 20), so if you want to help with the last 9 pages you can start here and here. Thanks a lot! :)

The same thing will have to be done for the old contests, but wish voting is more important right now. I haven't saved all the contests yet.

By the way: I am assigning your old wish voting pictures to your new accounts now (Mods and Mod trainees can help me with his).
This could lead to not being able to upload new ones, because now we have a limit of 20 wishes per user. But if this happens I will do something about it, so don't worry :).

What do you miss in the SP-Studio?

A background picture of your favorite place? Clothes worn by a celebrity? Your own hair-style? More pets? Fashion accessories? Famous movie costumes? Weapons, musical instruments or food? Make and discuss suggestions here:

    >> WISH VOTING

Yes, it's back. I saved all the pictures from the old gallery, but the votes were reset. So you can rate them again.

If you are new to this here is a short explanation on how it works:

Every member can upload wishes to the Wish Voting gallery (usually up to 20). If you want to suggest something search for a reference picture (Google) or draw one yourself. The quality does not matter at all, I just need to know what it looks like. Then go to the Make a Wish! gallery and check if your wish is already there (or in Declined Wishes). If not, click the "upload image" button. After a team member has approved your pictures it will appear and everybody can comment it. Only members can vote though (1-5 stars). From time to time I might delete those pictures which have very low ratings and no chance to be included.

Wishes with high ratings have good chances to be picked by me for future SP-Studio updates! :)

So if you want to suggest new SP-Studio items, please use the Wish Voting gallery to do so.
    Good luck and have fun!

I am afraid I can't change it, sorry... I searched for other options, but I couldn't find any. I even had a look at the source files of the forum, but my PHP knowledge is not good enough.

Have you tried to change the title after you uploaded it? Maybe this 32 characters limit only takes place during the upload.

    I am very complicated because usually I don't eat what I don't know ;).

    I like:

    Sandwiches (GOOD bread in general)
    Noodles (Asian, but not instant)
Chicken (KFC when I am too lazy to cook)
    Berries (especially strawberries)
    Potatoe chips (salt only)

    I hate:

    Cheese (!)
Fish & Bowels & meat with a lot of fat
    McDonalds & Burger King
Pure chocolate & every candy that's too sweet or tastes "chemical"

Usually I prefer salty snacks instead of sweet ones.

It was a bit boring... but I haven't seen any of the movies yet, so I guess that was the main reason. A lot of things seemed to be a bit old fashioned, but it was better than last year. James Franco was so horrible back then.

When I haven't watched the nominated movies I am most interested in the minor categories (like short films and special effects), because I like to see people win who have never been to Hollywood before. Most of the whole show is scripted and they always are in a hurry, so it's nice to have some true emotions in between. And I liked the old guy (sorry, can't remember his name), who won the award for best supporting actor. Though he only might have won because of his age ;). And the best supporting actress was really cute as well.

When I look at Strider's avatar and imaging him saying this I get a little scared . Let's hope he won't go on a killing spree in this forum at the end of the year.

I miss party games in the vote, because I love games like Wario Ware, Dance Dance Revolution, Rock Band, You don't know Jack and Buzz. But I never liked other multiplayer games like shooters, MMOs or racing games.

Most of the time I play alone. RPGs und RTS are my favorite genres. And interesting indie games in general. Oh... and I am addicted to Towr Defense games, I play every single one of them ;).

Diablo 2 (LoD) is my favorite game of all time!

Other favorites are the Anno series, Worms and Terraria. Terraria is a must have title! You can get it at Steam for about 5 bucks when it's on sale. I played about 200 hours already and it never gets boring because there is so much to discover. It's an exploring/action/building/crafting game with small RPG elements and many connections to Minecraft. But there are more monsters and way more different items. Give it a try, especially if you like this old fashioned retro look: http://store.steampowered.com/app/105600/

My favorite platform is the PC, but I also enjoy 3DS/DS, PS3 and Wii games. And from time to time I have to play some old DOS or SNES games as well. Like Lemmings 2... it's still amazing today.
