I'm a dog person, so... yeah, this could work :). Depends on the whole story of course.

But I think you created this topic in the wrong forum. It has nothing to do with the SP-Studio, so I move it to the off topic forum "our art".

I have to admit I never read a batman comic. As a child I only had a couple of Disney comics </ .

But I love the old Burton movies and especially Nolan's new ones! Well, I guess everybody loves them ;). What I like about Batman is how he has no actual super powers, because this makes it more exciting. And I like the villains. There are so many interesting ones.
My favorite Batman movie is not "The Dark Knight" but "Batman begins" because of the way his training is shown. I knew nothing about this before so it was new and exciting to watch. My favorite superheroe movie of all time! Besides Orgazmo of course ;).

Those movies are awesome :). I made one myself some years ago, but it's really bad compared to those. It only took us one day. I can see if I still find the videofile somewhere.

And I am really excited right now because I got my Easter gift! Well... it's something I paid for myself, but I won't open it till then ;). My fist Lego set in years. I love those annual releases because the houses show so much details and you can combine them to one big street.

I would suggest a topic like "the internet" instead. Then you could make memes, but also something completly different like an internet addict, WoW players (if there's a difference :D), you could focus on the technical aspects or something about Google/Facebook.

    Regarding movies:
There are many movie genres which might be a good choice. Comedy, Romance, Fantasy, Hollywood blockbusters, your favorite movies as a kid...

Maybe an interesting topic would be "famous crimes ad mysterious deaths"?

You guys are writing too much

Deboh had problems logging in, but I think it worked now :). I already wrote E-Mails to invite the other members you mentioned, so let's hope they might come back.

The Hall of Fame is already on my list here: http://www.planearium.de/sp-st…rum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=7 :) It will come back.

The comments button is already there. When you visit the gallery there is a link "View recent comments" on top of the page. But it is just a text link right now... I might change this to a bigger button. I am not sure yet how it could look because there is not much space. But that's something I will do.

Right now I cannot work much on the forum because I have to catch up with work. But I will do the changes as soon as I find the time :).

That's true. Years ago I bought a big set of Faber-Castell Polychromos and this was the best thing I could do! I still use them today for every colored picture. Cheap pencils can look okay, but cheap crayons often aren't intensive enough and this can be very frustrating.

Regarding the picture: I would like to see something a bit more elaborated. It looks okay for a scribble, but like you did not put much time in it ;). So it's difficult to say something about it.
But one tip regarding the South Park characters: The head looks fine, but the legs are too long. When you draw them more often you will notice things like that, nobody gets it right drom the beginning because they look so odd compared to most other cartoon characters. Keep it up! :)

I would even suggest: Upload it to your gallery when the voting is OVER. Because the voting will be a bit different from the old gallery. You names won't appear next to your pictures, so nobody knows who did them. Of course it is not forbidden to tell which picture is yours, but I think it will be fairer this way for everbody. In the old gallery some complained about being voted down because they already won in the past.

I don't know it, but it was a German gaming website and the feedback in the comments was VERY small. So most South Park fans didn't even know about this contest. I guess something like this would make more sense on a big South Park or cosplay website. You need to invest time and even money to make a costume... most won't do this, especially if they don't even like the show and are just gamers. When you just do a quiz or maybe a drawing contest more people take part. That's why I think I might have been the only one who entered. If there had been more, they wouldn't have canceled it.

Most people don't read this page, but I will add a note to the main page. This should help a bit because that's where the big traffic is :).
I will change the "about" page as well, but the relase numbers only apply to the actuel SP-Studio software.

It's a shame I made this costume for a contest and they never published the results. You could win a rare South Park Xbox 360 if you submitted a photo of you in a South Park costume. I guess I was the only one who tried it, so they decided to keep the prize instead of giving it away ;). The website never mentioned the contets again...

But what's internet fame compared to a boring South Park Xbox? :]

    ...

    Goddamnit :wall:

We have 10 pictures so far. I guess this contets might end with less pictures than usual, because some people haven't registered yet. But I will keep advertising the new community ;).

    Thanks :).
Yes, you can see my name (and nickname) on some of them. And they are not that good I would steal them ;).

Here are some pictures drawn with colored pencils. Or do you call them crayons in English? I always wondered if there a difference...

Thanks :). I draw the characters in front of a transparent background and copy them in the photo. It took some time, but it's okay when you have some Photoshop skills. Doing things like that is part of my job, so it did not take so long. It's just practising.
