    I think you are more limited by the software than by your skills. Did you use Paint? Maybe you should give Gimp a try. It's like Photoshop, but for free.
    And one thing is important: zoooooming :). When you zoom in you can better work on small parts like the hair or the border of the cap.

    If somebody posts a link to a website/file that's not legal. For example pirated software, copyrighted music, Hollywood movies or full South Park episodes which are not on the official website.
    This won't happen often, but we have to take care of it because it is against the law to allow links to content like that.

    Come on, you don't need to censor the forum, this is NOT cool ;). You really don't need to delete posts all the time (this is meant for all mods).


    You only should delete things if they are against the board rules:
    - warez
    - intense spamming
    - insults (if they are really insulting)


    Just because I don't like this guy doesn't mean everything written about him should disappear. If there was anything wrong with those posts I would have delete them myself and explained it, right?

    When Jean-Charles de Castelbajac announced a whole collection of South Park clothes I was very thrilled. At first. Then I looked through it and noticed MY SP-Studio drawings were used for some of the clothes. He (or most likely someone who works for him) used SP-Studio.de to create a look-a-like for him. They edited it a bit in Photoshop, but not much. He earns tons of money, without asking for permission, without giving credit or accepting my rules (NO commercial use).


    When someone uses my drawings on a private homepage without linking to sp-studio.de this is not okay, but it can happen and most likely it's just a little kid who doesn't know better. Nothing to freak out about. But a famous, rich designer who works in this business for so long should know better! I try to keep this project online though I don't earn much money, so every donation is helpful. I get donations and friendly feedback from people who don't have much money (or time) themselves, even if they just use the pictures for a birthday card or as their desktop wallpaper. And then somebody like this comes along and makes big money with a stolen picture. It's not fair - not to me and not to everybody who respects the copyright and asks for permission first.


    That's why I don't want to see his fashion anymore... :nono:

    Edit: Good news, I found myself a PHP helper! :) He will have a look at the files. So you just need a little more patience. But at least the voting works.

    The descriptions should be visible, but many did not add a description to their submission. I think some of them just submitted a random pictures... ;)


    Edit: Okay, ist seems to be a general problem. The contest settings don't want you to see the descriptions... I need to change the PHP code for this (as well as for allowing the comments) and I cannot get it working. Does anybody here knows how to code in PHP? </

    You can only edit messages for a certain amount of time. If they are older you need to ask a team member to do it.


    I might change this if it's too annoying. This setting exists to avoid that people change discussions later (for example if they insulted others and want the evidence to disappear ;)).

    If everything works like it should you can not see the names of the uploaders yet.
    Right now you cannot comment on contest entrys before the contest ends. I haven't managed to change this yet, but I am still trying...
