Any GoT fans here?
Perhaps someone who hasn't read the books?
I really loved episode 2 of season 4! Not just because of the ending, but there was so much going on and the atmosphere was intense in many scenes. Amazing!
Not so sure about the most discussed scene in episode 3 though...
I am not against rape scenes, but this one seemed kind of odd, considering Jaime was going through a process of becoming a slightly better person (at least that's what I thought). As far as I know this was handled differently in the books, where the sex was consensual. I cannot get rid of the feeling that they wanted to make it even more shocking - but come on, you are brother and sister having sex next to the body of your murdered son! It's not like the scene would have been boring.
But I hope this did not ruin much, because I liked the direction Jaime's character took.
I am looking forward to epsiode 4 now, I hope I will find time to watch it tommorow.
