Now I'm in our summer house in countryside, which is my Lego Paradise (almost all of my Legos are stored here), and Recently I have wiped out a swashbucklin' Pirate hideout, complete with lookout tower, pier (and sailboat), cannon, campfire and treasure chest. It has 6 pirate minifigs, plus one imperial officer, fighting with 1rst mate on the pier....

Turns out the users here are much more into Lego than I realised...
I am more into collecting than when I was last here, with me having my eye on the Civil War sets,
http://brickset.com/sets/theme…Captain-America-Civil-WarI have the cheap one and the big one is on his way, (Giant-Man looks awesome!) and I hopefully will get Black Panther in the next few months!

Unfortunately, Lego's prices have arise so much. </
Even the minifigures' blind bags (over 3€ ). -
Yeah, that's a bummer, I paid almost 500 PLN (circa 100 $) for my Pirate ship, but I don't regret it:

And then I went on Lego Exhibition at Warsaw's National Stadium and bought myself a souvenir:

I never was into Ninjago theme, but these sets have some cool parts, and I like their Steampunkish "Sky Pirates" theme...

The most I spent on one set was the Kwik-E-Mart:

A cool $200 when I was in Florida, it's the only 100+ set I've got so far but as I now have a job (and a student loan...) maybe that will increase in the near future.
-
Jealous. I want both the main Simpsons sets so badly; I've got all 32 of the separate figures but those main sets cost a freaking fortune over here.

Hey guys, check out my latest aquisition:

I really like this set, especially Mr. Freeze mech is really cool and fun to build. Plus, I have to admit, next to Gentleman Ghost he's my favourite Batman villain.

He briefly showed up in the movie!

I got a few of the sets from The Lego Batman Movie, love the small power plant sets, including the Mr Freeze one. Loved the movie, the only problem is a lot of the figures are just unrecognisable as the characters..
Look at Two-Face here, I get the Billy-Dee Williams connection but it just doesn't look.. right

I made something for my minifigs so they don't have to collect dust anymore. Ikea RIBBA frames are perfect for this because there is enough room behind the glass and they are quite cheap. Then I ordered a couple of white Lego bricks as platforms and glued them to white cardboards.

That's a really neat way of displaying them. My girlfriend and I need to do something similar with all of ours - at the moment they're arranged on shelves and they take up a ridiculous amount of room, plus they're an absolute nightmare to dust. I nearly bought some custom-made frames that I saw online recently (but were pretty expensive, especially when you factor in the postage from America), so it's good to know there's a decent alternative in Ikea.

I think Two Face's design is pretty clever, It's a Lego Minifig that is melted on one side, the skull is showing, and whatnot... I, on contrary to JPG really like TLG's approach, instead of going for an established Batman aesthetics, they came up with something more original, although it has some influences from Tim Burton's Batman movies, Mainly casting Billy Dee Williams as Harvey Dent, the design of the Batsuit and batman's Insignia, and the look of the Penguin.
-
Yeah, personally I love that Two-face design; the colours are beautiful. I think my favourite set from the Batman Movie is Clayface - the build is genius. The only thing that's put me off buying it is the rather dull selection of minifigs it comes with, but I'll definitely be picking it up if I find it discounted somewhere.
-
@Caribou: It's a bit of work to glue, but apart from this it's a very easy solution to avoid the dust problem. If you want to give it a try: The Lego bricks I used were #3660 bricks from the Lego online store. And there are some more pictures on my blog: http://zwerg-im-bikini.de/2017/03/11/gerahmtes-lego/ (I built this strange yellow Lego tool to position multiple bricks at the same time )

That's one of the sets I got, Clayface is a great build, I love that you can switch out one of the 6-stud shooters for a hammer. The only change I would make would be a fist build as well.
The latest purchase I made was all of the Guardians 2 sets, here's all the figures from the 2 movie (except The Collector, damn you Comic-Con!!)

I love Lego Technic I spend a lot of cash for something like that:

I use a lego plank to display my minifigures. I have no photos of it; I'll make one and show it to you in a few days.

Brickset is helding now a Brickheadz contest, And I've got a couple of entries there, so wish me luck.
