SP-Studio update: skin & places

Update: new skin & old places

SP-Studio update: skin & placesHappy new year! After the successful relaunch and your positive feedback I am super motivated to include more items. So let’s start with this huge update:

  • 24 NEW skin related items (more freckles, beauty marks, wounds, scars, body hair, tears…)
  • 31 places from the old SP-Studio are back, so this category is now complete
  • labels for the buttons to recolor items were added by Lars to avoid confusion

The skin items are a special gift to my Patreon supporters. They can be found in the “wounds” and “more skin related items” categories and are marked with yellow stars. Soon you can expect more updates to bring back items from the old SP-Studio – and join the new picture contest!

Update: Science Fiction

SP-Studio hair updateThe Science Fiction update is online! It comes with these new items:

  • places: cyberpunk city, spaceship bridge, crop circles, wormhole
  • shirts: a uniform inspired by Star Trek and a made up Sci-Fi uniform
  • stuff: U.F.O., laser blaster and force field
  • skin: cyborg lines

Apart from the Star Trek uniform I wanted to keep the objects not too specific for fans of certain franchises, so none of them are copied from movies or videogames. This was kinda difficult for me, because I am not good at inventing weapons. πŸ˜‰ But now I am satisfied with the results and I hope you like them as well. Thank you for you patience regarding this update. I needed a break after my grandpa passed away last month, but I feel better now.

And I started streaming again! The next Twitch livestream is scheduled for next Monday at 16:00 UTC (18:00 CET).

Update: Rooms

While I am preparing the new version of the SP-Studio there are still updates for the current version. This one will be useful for everybody:
Nine indoor backgrounds with different wallpaper designs were included today! How about a kid’s room or wallpapers inspired by the 70s, 80s or victorian times? Two designs are based on famous movies and tv shows: Sherlock and the Shining. I tried to keep the rest of them as neutral as possible so they could be used for all kinds of pictures.
The topic for this update was chosen by my 5$+ Patreon supporters in a poll. I hope you like the new backgrounds. Oh, and a quick reminder regarding the currently running SP-Studio picture contest: Today is the last day for voting, so share some hearts with your favorites!

gay marriage

Let there be rainbows

gay marriageTo celebrate the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision to declares same-sex marriage legal in all 50 states I made this spontaneous update for you:
You can use the rainbow flag as a background image and shirt motif now (in the “stuff” category). Because there is no reason why your SP-Studio avatar should not be able to celebrate as well! πŸ™‚
Today another update will be online, so keep an eye on this blog.

SP-Studio Christmas Special 2014

The big SP-Studio Christmas Special has started! This means updates every day until Christmas, and like every SP-Studio update I give you all of this for free. Those new clothes, body parts, backgrounds and accessories will be based on the wishes of my visitors. Write your requests in the comments and maybe they will be included. The first new item is a baking sheet full of Christmas cookies. I will update this post with the Advent Calendar every day, so keep an eye on it. The old Christmas Specials can be found here: 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013.

SP-Studio background patternsWe have more background colors now! And I started to include background patterns. I hope they will be useful for you if you don’t want to use one of the detailed sceneries. If you want more patterns like this, just tell me about your wishes in the comments.
The new SP-Studio picture contest has started as well, so join it until July 20th :). This month the topic is VACATIONS. Congratulations to the winners of the last contest!

Places from around the world

Places: Colosseum & Mount Fuji

It’s time for the last “Places from around the World” update. I included your favorites from the last poll: The Colosseum (Italy) and Mount Fuji (Japan). With 27 % and 22 % of the votes those two places were clear winners. I hope you like those new backgrounds! πŸ™‚
During the last couple of weeks I was asked a lot to draw more costumes, so that’s what the next update will be about.

Statue of Liberty & Venus Project

Places: Statue of Liberty & Contest wish

Two new backgrounds were included in the SP-Studio. Your favorite idea was New York’s Statue of Liberty, so here it is! The second image was inspired by the futuristic “Venus Project” and was a wish by contest winner TDC. A new vote has been added to the sidebar based on your requests, so let’s see what the final places-update will look like. I decided to pick countries which were not chosen yet to make it a little bit more interesting. Don’t forget to vote for what I should draw next!

Places from around the world

Places: Eiffel tower & Stonehenge

Thanks to everybody who has voted so far! You picked the Statue of Liberty, Stonehenge and the Eiffel tower, so those places will be added to the SP-Studio. I am not finished with the Statue of Liberty yet (don’t worry, it will be included for sure), but here are the other two:

Of course more famous places from around the world will be added. A new vote with new places will start after the next update. Don’t forget to vote for what I should draw next!
