12 items have been added to the special shirts!
This category is for all the historical clothes, unique costumes and regional outfits. Unfortunately I am very busy with work right now and so I have little time for the SP-Studio. Work comes first, even though I’d love to work on the SP-Studio full time. This is why this update is a bit smaller than the last ones. But I will continue to upload an update every Sunday until all the old items are back! It will take as long as it needs.
In other news: A new SP-STUDIO PICTURE CONTEST has started! Join it until February 20th. The topic of the month is “billionaires”.
40 items have been added to the regular shirts with long sleeves!
This category is complete now. I improved many drawings, you can recolor them – and as a bonus I added three new open jackets. Since you can combine any items with the new SP-Studio it makes sense to give you more open jackets to combine with any shirt you want.
Because some visitors did not notice or understand the new lock feature I added an info box about combining items. Remember you have to add the bottom shirt first, then lock it and then add the jacket.
72 items have been added to the “objects / tools & wepaons” category!
This category was missed by many SP-Studio fans, so I am happy to bring it back. The drawings for all items were improved and custom colors were added. And there are some surprises! The longsword can now be used in the hands. And I added four completely new drawings:
- a new realistic looking pistol
- a new regular shield
- a better katana
- a better chainsaw
61 items have been added to the “accessories/hats” category!
My plan is to release an update every weekend until all the old items are back. This time I focused on the hats. The category is now complete, all drawings were improved and recolor options were added were it makes sense. But I don’t want to risk boring you with just old items – so with every of these weekly update you can expect at least one new item as a little surprise. This time it’s pretty useful: A hoodie hood! The excisting hood was more suitable for robes so I decided to give you something more casual for your characters to wear. You can combine it with a shirt of your choice and of course recolor it.
And a bit later Lars added an update with improved loading times and some pretty placeholders!
Happy new year! After the successful relaunch and your positive feedback I am super motivated to include more items. So let’s start with this huge update:
- 24 NEW skin related items (more freckles, beauty marks, wounds, scars, body hair, tears…)
- 31 places from the old SP-Studio are back, so this category is now complete
- labels for the buttons to recolor items were added by Lars to avoid confusion
The skin items are a special gift to my Patreon supporters. They can be found in the “wounds” and “more skin related items” categories and are marked with yellow stars. Soon you can expect more updates to bring back items from the old SP-Studio – and join the new picture contest!
It’s finally here! Three years of preparations by optimizing all my drawings, three months of developing by Lars and now I am proud and happy to present you the new SP-Studio we have worked on so hard. No Flash is required anymore and it will run in every browser – so go ahead and give it a try! 🙂 I would love to read your feedback in the comments. You can still visit the old Flash versions here. If you want to use the mobile version just visit the website, no app store is required. The offline version I announced is not working though – please stay online for now. You will find many new items as well, but I let you discover them for yourselves. And finally I want to thank everybody who supported me during these years – with your donations, your knowledge and your kind words. Your help made this possible!
Today I included a special update for a special 6 year old SP-Studo fan who asked for Medusa’s snake hair. I hope she likes it. 🙂
Meanwhile I started working on the next bigger update with multiple items. Those who watch my Twich livestreams already know about it: It will be about steampunk! If you have special wishes for this feel free to write them in the comments. I will also start a new vote for my 5$ patrons soon where they can pick another topic for an update. Thank you very much for your ongoing support!
The Science Fiction update is online! It comes with these new items:
- places: cyberpunk city, spaceship bridge, crop circles, wormhole
- shirts: a uniform inspired by Star Trek and a made up Sci-Fi uniform
- stuff: U.F.O., laser blaster and force field
- skin: cyborg lines
Apart from the Star Trek uniform I wanted to keep the objects not too specific for fans of certain franchises, so none of them are copied from movies or videogames. This was kinda difficult for me, because I am not good at inventing weapons. 😉 But now I am satisfied with the results and I hope you like them as well. Thank you for you patience regarding this update. I needed a break after my grandpa passed away last month, but I feel better now.
And I started streaming again! The next Twitch livestream is scheduled for next Monday at 16:00 UTC (18:00 CET).
This is a special update inspired by current events. While I cannot do much expcept for staying at home I want to show my appreciation for all the health care workers, shop clerks, deliverymen and -women who do not have this option. THANK YOU for your hard work! In addition I want to encourage everybody who is not used to it to not feel ashamed for wearing masks in public. Protecting others is the most important thing right now if we want to avoid overloaded hospitals.
So with the help of the Twitch chat I designed ten different masks to wear for your SP-Studio characters in the times of COVID-19. From medical face masks over colorful vogmasks to historcial plaque doctor masks. The simple ninja style mask has custom colors.
I hope this update brings a little bit of joy to you. Stay safe and healthy!
The SP-Studio got some new historical items! All of these originated in the Twitch livestreams I did during the last two weeks. Thanks to the chat for the feedback and ideas!
