How do I find "downloaded" avatar?

I made an avatar; clicked the "save" icon; pop up pops up; I click OK; but how do I retrieve the avatar to use in my emails?

Did a prompt asking you whether to save or open the file popped out? If so, the pic should be in either My Documents (windows XP and older), or Downloaded Files (Vista, Windows 7, Windows

Thanks. I guess I'll have to create it on my desktop, then send it to my iPad.

The file is always named "sp-studio.jpg" (or with a number behind it if you save more than one picture). Maybe this helps if you cannot find it.
