Kick-Ass 2 (The Movie)

I thought the first one was great, and the comics as well. Apparently the first 20 minutes or so will be from the Hit-Girl comic (which I haven't read yet), and the second from Kick-Ass 2. And for those who have read the comic, Allot of the gory elements from the comic will be kept in the film, but
Also, Jim Carrey is playing The Colonel AND possibly lieutenant Stars as well. Thoughts?

I won't read the spoilers because I haven't read the comics, but YEEES, I am looking forward to it! Kick-Ass was one of the most entertaining movies I watched in the last couple of years. Unfortunately my husband wasn't es impressed as I was, but he is a huge Jim Carrey fan and so this is a good reason to drag him into the cinema .

I love the comics and the movie as well, so when I heard that they were making the second movie I was just so hyped.

I'm pretty happy about . At first, I had mixed feelings about Jim Carrey playing Colonel Stars, although now I actually think they made the right choice.

I know it came out a while ago but did anyone see the movie? I rewatched it for the first time since first seeing it in cinema and I gotta say, it was slightly disappointing. It wasn't near as good as the first one in my opinion (although this was mainly because I hadn't read the comic beforehand for that one, so it was a real surprise to me that the film was so good). The film got far too ridiculous and unrealistic in the end and kind of ruined the whole premise of it as in 'what would happen if someone tried to be a superhero in real life'. In the end,

Christopher Mintz-Plasse was pretty good as The Mother Fucker but he wasn't near as evil as he was in the comic. Chloe Moretz was amazing as HitGirl again and Aaron Taylor-Johnson was also good and once again put on a pretty good american accent.

Overall, I'd give the film a 6/10 for it's performances and some of it's drama Could have been better imo, in terms of comedy it wasn't even close to as funny as the first.

Both movies were freaking awesome
