What's the SP-Studio community?

This Community is a place for the visitors of SP-Studio.de to get in touch. It's no classic message board, it's a big gallery. The SP-Studio is about creativity and this is the perfect place to get inspired by sharing ideas and artworks. You can become a member for free and it has many advantages:

How can I show my SP-Studio pictures?

You need a "user gallery" to do this. After you have become a member you can upload files, but in the beginning you have ony two options: Suggest new items in the "Wish voting" area or take part in the monthly contests. Both things are described more detailed in the next paragraphs.
You cannot upload random pictures you built with the SP-Studio, because if everybody would do this I would soon run out of space. Unfortunately my space is very limited, I don't have the money for big servers. So I hope you understand I have to limit this somehow. You have to earn your own user gallery by scoring high in the monthly contests. Till then you can only upload one SP-Studio picture per month and it has to fit the topic of the contest. So show your creativity in the contests!

What are the contests?

Each month there is a new big SP-Studio contest about a certain topic. You can find the current and finished contests in the CONTESTS category. From the 1st to the 15th of the month every member can submit a picture to the contest album. Every contest gets its own album and there you can read the rules. After the 15th all submitted (and aproved) pictures appear in the contest gallery and every member can rate them with 1-5 stars. The pictures with the best rating (not with most votes) win. Usally the prices are a free wish for a SP-Studio item of your choice and the winners get their own user galleries and more space.

What is Wish Voting?

Beside the contests this the second big are of the SP-Studio community: the WISH VOTING category. Every member can submit wishes for new SP-Studio items here. Just upload a reference picture (a photo or drawing) with a short description of your wish. Others can vote and discuss the wishes. Good wishes might appear in the next updates. They are moved to the Wish voting archives then, so you can see which were already included. Some wished will never be included. If I denie them they are moved to the archives as well and I describe why they won't be added.

What happens if you run out of space?

Every member starts with 1 MB of space for uploads. You can get more by scoring high in contests. And sometimes I give away free disc space if you are very active in the community for a long time. You can always ask me to delete your wish voting pictures if they get low ratings and there is no big chance they will be included. Then you can upload new pictures instead.
