I think "People Everyday" by Arrested Development is my all-time favourite hip hop song. I've known it since I was a little kid and it still gives me goosebumps to this day. That intro is immense.

"rapping" is awesome but most mainstream rap is boring
im a huge fan of epic rap battles of history and especially epiclloyd's dis raps for hire.

I don't think you've listened to much mainstream rap properly.

Jetpackguy: there are many artists who don't rap about sluts and angry screaming - 2pac, Biggie Smalls, Kanye West, Ice Cube. Some artists may release one song that features them rapping about (in your words) 'big-ass girls' .


The only reason that people rap about guns are either the people who really cannot rap (Lil Wayne, Soulja Boy etc.) or the people who have actually struggled on the street, and have had those experiences.

Actually, I listend to german rap, and I thought it was pretty good. Granted, I cant speak german but...
