For the second consecutive time, I almost get into the top five (3,55 with 11 ratings). Adding the points instead of averaging I should get the 5th place... :sigh:

This time I knew that it should be a black and white film. After other designs (that I reserve for further contest's themes) I thought about the first Sci-Fi movie ever filmed: 'Le voyage dans le Lune' made by Georges Méliès in 1902. Based in novels wroten by Jules Verne (From the Earth to the Moon) and H.G. Wells (The first men in the Moon), it included very innovative special effects for its age.
The most known image of the film is the arrival of the spacecraft landing in the eye of the Moon's face.

Unluckyly I didn't find a better way to draw the spacecraft... </
