Image Description

'A trip to the Moon', or 'Le Voyage dans la Lune' in its original french title, was the first Science Fiction movie in the History.
Georges Méliès made it in 1902 and included very innovative special effects.
It was based in novels wroten by Jules Verne (From the Earth to the Moon) and H.G. Wells (The first men in the Moon).
The most remembered image of the film is the arrival of the spacecraft landing in the eye of the Moon's face.
