Image Description

The act of headbanging and Queen's song "Bohemian Rhapsody" had both existed long before the '90s, but it wasn't until 1992 that the film Wayne's World had the idea of combining the two, and it soon became a very popular pastime.

Shortly thereafter the United Nations passed a new international law making it compulsory for everyone in the immediate vicinity to start headbanging like their lives depended on it every time they heard the hard-rocking bridge section (otherwise known as the Designated Headbanging Section, or DHS for short). Although prosecutions are rare in these more enlightened times, failure to comply with this law can still to this day technically result in heavy fines or even prison time. Even more serious is the crime of partaking in the act of headbanging during any other part of the song apart from the DHS.

Breaking this most sacred of rules not only carries the potential of severe judicial penalties, but can also make you look a right tit in front of all your friends.
